Not saved by my works but by his grace on the cross

Ephesians 2:8

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Let me always remember there is nothing I can do that can gain more grace than the death and burial of Christ Jesus. He saved us from our sins bottom line. We either believe it or not and if we believe it we are set free. If do not believe we are in bondage to the law. Thank God I am saved through his son Jesus the Christ.

Verses to meditate on today

Acts 4:12

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

2 Thessalonians 2:16

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

Galatians 5:4

Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

Song for my day

(Grace Alone)

Dear father I ask you to help me to see that the work on the cross has defeated death and sin. Let me learn to walk in adoration and accept the grace you gave me for I have been saved.
