Believe – Verse of the day – Day 56
100 days continued of the 100 top verses by Bible Gateway.
I am thankful for the work Jesus did for us and we have the privilege to receive his love in our hearts and let him teach us salvation though him. Just the fact that we can be blessed for hearing the words in Revelation is comforting (Rev1:1).
I thank God everyday that he has offered us eternal life through belief in his death, burial, and resurrection. We have been set free. We shall not be condemned and God will never turn his back on us once we are in his care. We have passed from death to life now. (John 3:16)
So today I will take with me an assurance of salvation and let my life reflect joy and peace in him.

Reflection passage: Psalm 113
(Very short Psalm but expresses King David’s Love of God)
1 Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, you his servants; praise the name of the Lord.
2 Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore.
3 From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised.
4 The Lord is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens.
5 Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high,
6 who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?
7 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
8 he seats them with princes, with the princes of his people.
9 He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children.
Praise the Lord.
“I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.

Quote for my day:
“As believers in Jesus Christ, our work is to believe while God works on our behalf.”
