Examine – Verse of the day – Day 66
I try everyday to get up and do my best to examine myself and put on the full armor of God. When I first became a christian I was probably a little bit overbearing to some people but it was such an excitement to know the creator of the universe in a personal way that I wanted everyone to know. As time went by I had to learn wisdom and there is nothing that I can do to help God do his work but live as he asked us to live.
We are a workmanship far beyond our understanding and God knows that when we first receive his forgiveness and eternal life it is our nature to want to tell everyone. I pray that I am not overbearing to the point I would turn someone off so I pray for wisdom and understanding and get out of God’s way so he can do his work through me.
So father let me eagerly examine my life and seek you with wisdom and understanding by reading your word everyday and taking that teaching deep in my heart and live life to the fullest for you.

Reflection passage: (Psalm 119: 33-48)
33 Teach me, Lord, the way of your decrees, that I may follow it to the end.[b]
34 Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law and obey it with all my heart.
35 Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.
36 Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain.
37 Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word.[c]
38 Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared.
39 Take away the disgrace I dread, for your laws are good.
40 How I long for your precepts! In your righteousness preserve my life.
41 May your unfailing love come to me, Lord, your salvation, according to your promise;
42 then I can answer anyone who taunts me, for I trust in your word.
43 Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws.
44 I will always obey your law, for ever and ever.
45 I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.
46 I will speak of your statutes before kings and will not be put to shame,
47 for I delight in your commands because I love them.
48 I reach out for your commands, which I love, that I may meditate on your decrees.
Verse of the day – (Acts 17:11)
Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
