Verse of the day 05/17/2014

Psalm 68:19
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation. Selah. . . .

Many days I wake up and give thanks for all he does for me but today I really want to just sit back and praise him for everything in my life with total concentration.

I am blessed he saved me.
I am blessed to be part of a great church.
I am blessed to have a job.
I am blessed to live in a country that allows me to have my beliefs.
I am blessed to have a roof over my head.
I am blessed to have transportation.
I am blessed for many other reason. Too many to mention.

Today I just would like to take a couple of verses and meditate upon them and just give God thanks for such a wonderful life is has given me. Even with all the mistakes I have made with my life even having difficult times with divorce and disobedience, he still forgave.

Psalm 119:171
My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.

Your statutes on this side of the cross is Love. I no longer operate under the old laws first written in old testament days. Not being under those laws is a freedom I respect and thank the lord for because I could not possibly keep them all. Jesus thank you for what you did for me.

I obey this way now, with grace. I allow the spirit to slowly take those sins away from me and thank him on my knees with adoration for what was done at the cross for me.

He builds me.
He watches over me.
He guides me.
He disciplines me.
He forgives me.

He loves me.
I am blessed !!!!!!!!!!!!

Psalm 146:1
Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul.

So today on this beautiful day and as I get prepared to go to my companies party let me enjoy this fellowship of with my co workers and let you be at the front of my life.

Quote for my day:

In happy moments, praise god. In difficult moments, seek God. In quiet moments, worship God. In painful moments, trust God. In every moment, thank God.
