Verse of the day 05/29/2014

Hebrews 10:23
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.

May I stay steadfast in the word of God. Let me continue in the grace promised me at conversion.
My prayer is that all shall come to the knowledge of God and that the world be conformed to the spirit of God.I accept what Christ did for me and I give thanks that the work has been finished. I now live a life of dedication to that finished work.

Verses to mediate on today:

Romans 12:12
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Let me rejoice every day in every situation.

Romans 15:13
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Hope is the catalyst that keeps me motivated and moving forward.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

May my focus be not on evil thoughts but on what can I do to serve and give thanks.

Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.

Hope helps me to wait upon him who knows what is best for my life.

Romans 5:2-5
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
So dear father as I move into another day and I give thanks for your grace let me know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Let me live in that hope today and let me continue in it to the day of redemption.
