Verse of the day 06/05/2014

Exodus 15:11
“Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?”

The God of the universe is awesome in every way thinkable. Just look at the mighty mountains and the oceans of the earth. That alone can announce a presence greater than what our mind can conceive. I bow down to the Lord of heaven and earth and release my life to his guidance and control. Who is greater than the majestic God of all.

Today I will meditate on these verses:

Psalms 24:10
Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory.

King David a man of God’s very own eyes. He knew how majestic our Lord is.

Hebrews 1:3-4
And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.

Even as the maker of heaven and earth he laid down his own life and took it back because of the power he has. Who is like our God? Who is like him?

Job 37:22
“Out of the north comes golden splendor; Around God is awesome majesty.

Job too knew the power of a God that created everything. Job had faith in this power. Job never gave up and Job believed God would deliver him from all his affliction.
There is no God like our God.

Exodus 15:11
“Who is like You among the gods, O LORD? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, Awesome in praises, working wonders?

Just who is like our God on high?
Today I will carry this thought of an all powerful God that never sleeps nor toils and keep the understanding of his glory and power at the front of my mind. I will realize just how powerful and majestic he is today. I will praise his name and his majestic power.
