Verse of the day 06/10/2014

Jude 1: 24-25
Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

I will always take to heart the one that keeps me in spiritual health, Jesus Christ. He is my guidance, help, sustain-er, and friend everyday I wake. In no way shall he leave my side. I may fall away but he is always there.

Eternal security is a promise not a theory. It is written in the word that he will never leave us nor forsake us. There is not condition for eternal security except believe and true belief is a conversion a sealing of the holy spirit. What happens after conversion is a process. Yes we are in control of how we act but the spirit is a comforter not a condemner.

Here are some verses I will consider this morning.

John 6:37
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

What is said here is that in no wise will he cast out. I believe it in my heart and love him for it and accept it as truth.

John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

The word shall is definite. Not doubting at all. He shall bring us to eternal life with no condemnation.

Hebrews Chapter 6:4-6
For [it is] impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put [him] to an open shame.

If something has been completed we can’t ask him to do it all over again. In Hebrews it tells us time and time again (Once and for all he dired for our sins)

Dear father as I thank you today for a blessed day let me give thanks for your free gift to us as believers and a better life by knowing you spirit in which you sent to us after resurrection. We only have faith and faith brings us hope and hope will be manifested when we are at your feet in glory.

I thank you with all of my heart and soul for everything I have in life in you kingdom here on earth as well as what is to come in eternity.

Amen
