Verse of the day 06/15/2014

Psalm 30:2
O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me.

I am sure every converted believer remembers the day they called out and he heard their cry. That time in their life that they knew there was an answer somewhere in this universe. They knew the way they were going was a dead end. They could sense and feel the path they were on was a dead end so they cried out to a God they did not know and when they did he answered and they were immediately healed.

I will meditate on these scriptures this morning:

Luke 15:1
Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.

We wanted to know more about this savior Jesus so we drew near to him.

Luke 15:20
And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

Even in a rebellious and fallen state our God comes and even runs to us.

Today dear father let me realize the importance of that decision when I give my life to your guidance and counsel.

I am sealed and working towards an eternal life filled with the knowledge and truth of Jesus. I am so thankful for everything that has happened to me in my life even the so called mistakes. Yes I made some very bad decisions along the way but here is what I keep reminding myself. God knows every hair on my hear and every hair on every one of his children. He knows me and I rest in his love and grace for my life.
