Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
This verse helps me see that my church family is my strength. I learn from them and they help support me as well. I realize today that if I should have a problem I know I can turn to my fellow body of Christ to pray for me. As I am in the world during the week let me draw from the teachings of Christ and put them into practice so that I will become wise and attain favor with God.
I continue to go to my house of faith weekly.
Let me focus upon these verses today:
1 Corinthians 1:25
For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength.
God is my rock and my salvation.
1 Corinthians 1:30
It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God–that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.
The word of God keeps me strong in faith.
My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
I pray today for wisdom and strength to keep me strong.
To the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
Today I want to please him in everything that I do.
