for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.”
Let me continue to hide the word of God in my heart. Let me read his word everyday so that when I am asked of him to recall I shall be prepared. Let me have his words and not my own words should I be in a situation to respond to someone that needs an encouraging word or support.
I shall keep these verses hid in my heart for they are essential scriptures but let me also be ready by constant reading of all the bible to increase my knowledge.
Here are 6 key verses to keep at hand and ready.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
I shall let everyone know his love and who to turn to.
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’”
Let me be prepared to point to Jesus
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
I will be prepaired to let everyone know eternal life is in Christ alone.
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
I shall quote scripture as much as possible for therein lies the power not my one words alone.
(What did God provide as our only source of Salvation?)
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.”
We are all sinners in need of a savior.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
I will lead people to the place where they can turn to the word of God for comfort. I will lead them to confess and be forgiven of their sins through Jesus the Christ.
So today I will realize that these key scriptures are very important for me as a Christian to retain in my heart. I will also realize that there are so many other scriptures I can memorize also and it comes from constant daily reading of your word.
You shall call them to memory as I need them. You will be my guiding light.
