Verse of the day 07/12/2014

Psalm 117
Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. For great is his love toward us,
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord

This is the shortest psalm in the bible. Short yet one with a simple message of how great our God is.

This morning let me focus on the greatness of our God.

These verses will be in my heart today.

Isaiah 6:1
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple.

I will exalt him our God on high.

Philippians 2:9
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name.

Jesus is the name above all names.

Psalms 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

I will meditate today on his wonderful name and exalt his presence.

Acts 2:33
Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.

God keeps his promises.

Isaiah 52:13
See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.

In these verses today the word exalted is used.

EXALTED:(of a person or their rank or status) placed at a high or powerful level; held in high regard.

Today father I hold your name in the highest level and sing praise to you.

Today’s song will allow me to experience your presence and exalt you……….
