I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
I am glad to know that the spirit of God lives in me. The Christ nature I was born into when I was baptized is now active. Out with the old and in with the new nature. Christ living inside of me teaching and guiding me everyday.
Living by faith is the only way I can live. Works won’t do it. Religion won’t do it. Nothing can make or bring me any closer to God than what I already am. Living only by faith and trust in God is the only thing I can do.
Such a blessing to be able to serve a God by his spirit living in me. It is not I that lives but Christ living in me. I stand perfect in Gods eyes through the faith I have in the final sacrifice for sin, Christ Jesus in me.
Today I will concentrate on these verses:
1 Peter 2:2
like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,
The christian life is a day by day life and the word of God is our life line.
For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.
If I read all day long and all night long the word of God and do not put into practice what I have read then I am a weak vessel and servant of God.
“Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you on knowledge and understanding.
Let me listen closely to the sermons I hear each weak and feed on the word of God using what the spirit teaches me.
Today let me be aware of my surroundings and be a vessel worthy of God and his love.
