Verse of the day 07/23/2014

Psalm 105:7-8
He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth. He remembers his covenant forever,
the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations. . . .

I was reading the whole psalm 105 that King David wrote and 3 times it mentions he remembered and I am glad that he does remember his promise.

Our God is an awesome God who remembers his covenant with his people and I will rejoice today knowing that he remembers his promise of salvation and redemption.  Psalm 105

Today let me focus on these key popular verses:

Deuteronomy 31:6
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

I know that the God of the universe shall not leave me nor forsake me. I know this is true.

John 6:37 “
All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.”

Like the prodigal son I can always return to his love.

Romans 8: 38-39
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

This is one of my favorite verses ever. I love this scripture of truth about the love of the father.

John 11:25-26
“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Like this woman I believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

So as I move into this blessed day given to me by the father of the universe let me know that I am never separated from his loving care.

I shall rejoice and be glad in it.
