Verse of the day 07/28/2014

James 1:5-6
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.

I ask God to give me wisdom and let me use that wisdom to further the kingdom of God. Let me be wise in the sight of God. Let no man come between me and what God has in store for me. My life is guided by the spirit of God and I am following the word of God and nothing else.

Let me never sway back and forth from righteous living and unrighteous living. I ask God to keep my heart centered in his love and therefore let me love the way God loves.

I will meditate on these scriptures today:

Romans 1:18
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

I walk only after that witch edifies God and his plan for us.

Job 21:14
“They say to God, `Depart from us! We do not even desire the knowledge of Your ways.

Let me never turn my eyes away from you O’lord.

2 Timothy 2:16
But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness,

Let my lips only lift up your holy name.

John 9:31 – Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

Dear father as I move into another blessed day given to my by your grace let me keep focused upon you and not be strayed away by false teachings or unrighteousness. Let me keep focused on you and press forward to the high calling of you word.

Amen
