Verse of the day 07/29/2014

Proverbs 15:33
The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom, and humility comes before honor.

I ask today that the holy spirit teach me to be humble and not proud and egotistic. Let me take each situation with a humble spirit and not place myself in a position of being self righteous. Let me always be kind and listen to what the word of God teaches me to do and be as a follower of Jesus Christ.

I do fear the Lord and everyday. I ask that his spirit be with me teaching me and guiding me into all truth and understanding.

Today let me meditate upon these scriptures:

Proverbs 12:15
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

If I stay rooted in the word of God I will remain on the correct path.

Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Each morning I will ask for his wisdom and direction. Not my own.

James 1:5
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

I don’t have to be afraid to ask God for anything especially asking for wisdom. God will give me wisdom and will not hold back any knowledge I need.

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Today as I am focusing upon your words Lord let me learn how to ask for things not seen and believe that what ever I ask for you shall bring forth. It is up to my understanding of wisdom.

For your word tells use to live for the things unseen.

Today as I am living in this world let me see the kingdom of heaven manifested in me and in the whole world now.
