Verse of the day 08/03/2014

Psalm 18:1-2
I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Today I am on my knees with thanksgiving for all he has done in my life. Let me keep my eyes fixed on his power to deliver me from my sins convict me to live a Godly life.

Prevent me from falling into a sense of ingratitude.
Prevent me from loosing focus and direction.
Prevent me from falling into temptation.

God is my protector and defender. It is he and only he I surrender my life too.

Today I will concentrate and meditate upon these scriptures.

2Thessalonians 3:3
But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.

It is the Lord that I turn too and not man.

1John 5:19
We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

Although Satin can influence me it is God that ultimately guides me back to his presence through Jesus Christ his beloved son.

1Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

I will run to him just as the prodigal son did. Putting down the things of this world. He is calling me home.

Hebrews 13:5
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Dear father today I am thankful for all you give me but most of all you shall never leave me nor forsake me and for that I am thankful for because I know that this sinful man is in no way worthy enough for your acceptance and can never be on my own but Jesus Christ in whom you sent to save me is. I shall call upon his name today and I shall be healed in every area of my life.

I am a sinful man but Jesus is making me whole and I Look to you with thanksgiving for salvation.
