Verse of the day 08/06/2014

Matthew 18:20
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”

God is everywhere we all know that, but God loves to be with his creation. When we are with another person or a group of believers there is something special that happens. His presence can be felt because he is a God of communication and loves interaction with his followers.

Could it be he called us to go out into the world two by two? It may be for that very reason……

In church you can feel his presence because all are on one accord with one another and God. His spirit shows up. It is not only important to fellowship with believers by studying his word but to worship is just as important. It is a much more meaningful experience to be part of a worship service than watching a broadcast television program. I realize that worship service is a two fold experience. We learn from hearing his word preached but we also hear and feel his presence through the sounds of voices singing to heaven and the music intensifies that experience. (Amen and Amen)

His presence can be felt by believers that gather in his name. He shows up in spirit and we can feel his presence.

Wow studying God word is so awesome. Today I am learning just how important it is to experience God’s presence. I always knew it was important but God has opened a new chapter in my walk with him. His relationship with us can be felt……

Today let me focus on these scriptures:

1 Chronicles 16: 27
Honor and majesty are found in His presence; strength and joy are found in His sanctuary.

I will worship you more in fellowship with my congregation Lord.

Psalm 16: 11
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

I will let your spirit show me the way.

Psalm 31: 20
You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

Teach me more and more by your presence.

Psalm 51: 11
Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

King David always cried out for God to remain in his presence.

Zephaniah 1: 7
Be silent in the presence of the Lord GOD; For the day of the LORD is at hand, for the LORD has prepared a sacrifice; He has invited His guests.

Even in quite time I shall seek your presence.

Dear father today I realize how important your presence is in the lives of your believers. Let me move forward and be more aware of your presence.

God is so great how he teaches us over and over with one scripture. It means more and more the more I read his word.
