Verse of the day 08/12/2014

mourning

Psalm 30:11-12
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever!

Today all I want to do is give God praises and thanksgiving for who and what he is. A loving and wonderful God. He will show us our way and guide us into his wonderful light. It is a wonderful thing to be saved and loved by him.

Today let me focus on these great words of King David and be thankful.

Psalm 18:1
I love you, O LORD, my strength.

The Lord is truly my strength and hope and I shall always Love what he did for all of us.

Psalm 25:10
All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.

Although he loves me he has demands upon my life and I must live up to those demands. The christian life is a life that wants to obey and work for his kingdom. He is a God that teaches and when we walk down a different road he with his love will get our attention and bring us back to himself. He will correct those he loves. His hand is a rod of correction and truth.

Psalm 63:3-6
Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you. On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night.

King David has such wonderful words of wisdom. I love reading his psalms and they help me to grow in grace.

Psalm 121
I lift up my eyes to the hills; my help comes from the LORD. He who keeps you will not slumber. The LORD will keep you from all evil.

The lord keeps me safe from all evil and I will praise him for it. He is always at work even when my eyes are closed his work is being done. Amazing is our savior.

Psalm 138
I give you thanks, O LORD! All the kings of the earth will praise you. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life.

So many times King David praises and give thanks in his writing and psalms. They lift my heart up to God when I read them.

Psalm 62
My soul waits for God alone. He alone is my rock and my salvation. Trust in him at all times, O people. Power and love belong to God.

Dear father I will life my heart as king David did to your greatness and today as I move into another blessed day let me keep these verses of praise and thanksgiving deep within my soul and look at others with the same love you have given to us. May my day be blessed because of your grace and I shall walk with the love of your son Jesus Christ.

I will love you from the inside out.

Amen
