Verse of the day 08/20/2014

Psalm 118:24
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Let me never forget that the reason I awoke this morning is because of the love of the Lord. He has made everything that was made and he (Jesus) is God manifested in the flesh.

I have many reasons to rejoice in him. The main reason I personally rejoice is because he saved me from a life of eternal separation from him.

Everything in this world is from him and each day I wake and open my eyes I shall give him thanks and rejoice in his creation of which he has allowed me to experience heaven here on earth and one day I shall enter heavens gate and see him face to face.

Today I will meditate upon these scriptures:

Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

Paul let us know, and even repeated it ,that we should rejoice in the Lord at all times. Rejoicing should be a natural function of the believer.

Luke 15:10
Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Even the angels rejoice in heaven. They are in close contact with us and know when even just one of us gives his life to God and repents.

Romans 12:15
Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.

Even the more so I should worship and rejoice with my fellow christian family when we gather together.

Isaiah 45:22
“Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.

So today I rejoice in this fact that there is only one God and his name is Jesus Christ. The maker and creator of this universe and earth.

He made this day and I will rejoice in my heart today !!!

Amen
