Verse of the day 08/25/2014

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare [1] and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

I will thank God that he has my life planed out. I thank him that he delivered me from my sins to a life lived by grace and truth.

Evil is no longer a part of my life. Evil has been defeated by the cross of Jesus.

I now look for a future with God as my rock and guide. I shall continue to read his precious word and live by the principles contained in his word.

Today I will concentrate upon these scriptures:

1 Corinthians
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Victory was given to me the moment Jesus said it is finished.

Ephesians 6:11
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

God gives me the ability to fight against evil. It is up to me to use the armor he has given me.

Ephesians 6:10
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

As I become more rooted in his word let me also realize that I am becoming stronger for it. In my life and all situations that present themselves I am strong in the Lord and call upon him.
He is able.

Isaiah 54:17
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from me,” says the Lord.

Heavenly father let me live out the plans you have for me and know that you shall give me strength and fight my battles for me.

Today let me live as though I am a victor and not a victim.

Amen
