If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
Today I ask for wisdom and know that you will give it liberally. Let my faith be unwavering today and know that what ever I ask in faith you shall answer. Let me not doubt what your power can do.
The Majesty of your countenance is truly amazing. You know everything that is in my thoughts and you know my possibilities. Help me to be wise and obey so that I can fulfill what your plan in my life will be. If I do that you shall do your part because you have declared it in your word today.
Today I will read these verses and meditate upon them:
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
I will continue to search for your knowledge hidden deep within the scriptures.
A wise son heeds his father’s instruction, but a mocker does not listen to rebuke.
Let me take my instruction and when I am corrected let me listen and be obedient.
Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.
Let me keep my heart far away from evil thoughts and evilness and follow your instruction.
To the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
I want to do your will father and continue to embrace your love and instruction.
A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.
So dear father let me be sensitive to your written word as it is my road map to wisdom. Let my anger subside and learn to turn my anger over to you and follow you teaching and instruction.
Today I will keep these verse on my mind and listen to you.
