Verse of the day 09/15/2014

John 15:12-14
“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you.”

Interesting this verse came up on my random verse finder. I was reading Colossians 1:1-11 everyday for a week and it told my spirit that we need to pray and love one another. This verse is very similar and Jesus is telling us to love one another in this verse again.

There is nothing greater that we can do but to love one another as Jesus loved us. He gave his life and we should give our lives to him for service in his kingdom.

I will focus on these verse today:

1 John 4:8
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

I ask God to continue to teach me to Love everyone and change this sinful life into Love for one another.

1 John 4:19
We love him, because he first loved us.

God is Love !!!

Mark 12:30
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

Dear father change my mind and let me learn to focus on Love.

John 14:15

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Let me always be a servant and obey your commands. I thank God everyday for salvation for without your love we would have no hope at all. Let Love be the first thing on my mind as I wake in the morning.

I ask for prayer for our leaders in a world that needs you today.

Amen

Quote for my day:

A man can accept what Christ has done without knowing how it works: indeed, he certainly would not know how it works until he has accepted it.
