For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
This morning I want to rest in the fact that God really and truly wants the best for me. If I keep focusing on things of the world then I put a road block in the way of God’s plans for my life.
Today let me rest in knowing peace of mind and slow down and enjoy every minute of this life now. I know I am not considered rich when people look at my status. I know that, but one thing they can say is he is dependent upon God and seeks him daily.
Obedience is what prospers me. Contentment, peace of mind, cheerfulness, enjoyment, these things bring me prosperity. I give thanks for how he has prospered me up to this point in my life.
I am thankful for my transportation, a roof over my head, employment, and the ability to provide food on the table. I am thankful.
These verses shall keep me strong today:
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for [it is] he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as [it is] this day.
It is God who gives me a new day and prospers me according to his riches and glory. He supplies my needs.
3 John 1:2 – Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Money is not the only means to prosperity. Health is another way God gives me reason to praise him. That alone is quite a wonderful gift. Good health………
He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.
So heavenly father I will give praises for right where you have me in this life. I will not focus on more but be more of a manager of what I have and you shall increase my needs as I need them. I will not focus on status in this life but rather my calling and position in Christ Jesus.

Quote for my day:
I wouldn’t trust the best fifteen minutes I ever lived to get me into heaven.
