Verse of the day 06/23/2014

Luke 23:43
Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

Today let me understand the love of God and his payment for my sins. At the moment I believed Jesus took all of my sins past, present and future. Just as the thief on the cross was instantly with Jesus in heaven so is a sinner that repents and give his heart to God.

I give thanks today for the grace God has given to us. A way to enter heaven through a savior who is a perfect and acceptable offering. An offering that is final and has nothing left to be paid. A savior that has taken all of my sins with him to the cross.

Today let me take these verses with me to comfort me today.

Revelation 21:4
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Jesus takes away all of my pain and suffering and one day we shall be like him and with him in heaven.

Psalms 37:11
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Let me be thankful and appreciative for the gift to us. Eternal Life

Revelation 1:18
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

It is Jesus that has done and paid for what I could not do. I shall give him praise and thanks.

Psalms 49:15
But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.

It is all God. All I can do is follow and believe.

Today let me carry the thought of a savior that loves me with a love beyond comprehension. A love that no man can understand the full meaning of. A love that is full of the fruit of the spirit, love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
